Ferrari's Electric Vehicle Prototype Spy Photos Released

On June 28, TapTechNews reported that a source named DEREKPHOTOGRAPHY released a set of spy photos of the early prototype of Ferrari's electric vehicle undergoing road tests yesterday. The vehicle in the photo looks similar to a shooting brake, but it's not ruled out that it could be a 'ule car', as it uses a large number of exterior components from existing Ferrari and Maserati models.

TapTechNews note: 'MuleCar' refers to the trial-produced prototypes during the new car R & D process, using the existing model's body in white combined with the newly developed model's chassis and powertrain for various tests. In short, it is 'old car shell' with 'new chassis'. Generally speaking, there is a big difference between the mule car and the real mass-produced model.

The new car that appeared this time adopted a body design similar to that of Maserati Levante, but with larger wheel sizes and a smaller ground clearance, and was equipped with Ferrari Roma's LED headlights.

This car is equipped with a set of 'decorative' quad exhaust pipes, and lightning stickers are attached on both sides of the body to highlight its identity as an electric vehicle. Of course, given that Ferrari is currently tight-lipped about the design and specifications of its first electric vehicle, this means there are still multiple possibilities for this new car - convertible sports car, shooting brake, crossover.

According to previous reports, there were sources who said that Ferrari is planning to provide an extended warranty plan for the next generation of hybrid and pure electric supercars to ease users' concerns about battery aging. People familiar with the situation said that Ferrari will provide about 7000 euros (about 54,598 RMB) of warranty service. This service will give the owners of hybrid models the right to replace the battery after eight years to solve possible problems.

Ferrari has also recently activated a new factory, E-building, responsible for the production of all Ferrari models including the first electric vehicle.
