AMD Releases 24.6.1 Driver Update with Support for New Games and Features

TapTechNews, Jun 28. AMD company today released the AMD Software: Adrenalin driver version 24.6.1 WHQL update, focusing on supporting two new games, The First Descendant and Once Human.

This driver update also extends support for the HYPR-Tune configuration profile for the following games, and TapTechNews presents the game list as follows:

Players can use this configuration file to enable various innovative and practical functions with one click, such as improving performance and reducing input latency through HYPR-RX; achieving comprehensive energy savings on AMD computing platforms with the help of HYPR-RX Eco; and boosting game performance to a whole new level with the AMD Frame Generation Technology in HYPR-RX, etc.

In the press release, AMD officials said that after enabling HYPR-RX on the Radeon™ RX 7800 XT GPU, the performance in games such as Baldur's Gate 3, F1 23, and Resident Evil 4 instantly increased by up to 149%.
