TapTechNews reports on May 11 that the Deep Blue S05 model has now passed the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology declaration. The new vehicle, internally designated C857, will be available in both pure electric and range extender versions, with a market launch expected in the third quarter.
The dimensions of the new vehicle are a length of 4620mm, width of 1900mm, height of 1600mm, and a wheelbase of 2880mm (approximately 181.1 inches).
TapTechNews notes that the new model will offer optional features like different styles of glass roofs, sheet metal roofs, luggage racks, external rearview mirrors, roof cameras, window frame trims, rear triangle window decorations, and 18-inch or 20-inch wheels.
The power aspect reveals that the pure electric version will feature an electric motor with a maximum power of 175kW. The range extender version will include a 1.5L range extender with a maximum power of 72kW and a 160kW electric motor, equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery.
