BYD Launches 'Shark' Pickup Truck in Mexico

The BYD SHARK has two versions, GL and GS, but the official event did not specify the differences between the two versions. BYD SHARK has three colors to choose from: white (PallasWhite), black (MarmaraBlack), and gray-blue (AtlantisGray). The length, width, and height of this pickup truck are 5457mm, 1971mm, and 1925mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3260mm. The maximum power of the front motor is 170kW, and the maximum torque is 310N·m; the maximum power of the rear motor is 150kW, and the maximum torque is 340N·m. BYD SHARK can accelerate 0-100km/h in 5.7 seconds, with a top speed of 160KM/h. The battery capacity is 29.58kWh, with a pure electric NEDC range of 100km and a hybrid NEDC range of 840km, and fuel consumption of 7.5L/100km. The BYD SHARK is equipped with a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel, a 12.8-inch central control screen, and a 12-inch HUD head-up display. It is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, equipped with a 360° panoramic camera and a 180° chassis camera, providing a 540° wide transparent panoramic image.
