China FAW Group to Join NIO Battery Swap Alliance

Previously, Li Bin, the founder of NIO, said that the company's battery swap alliance includes 7 automakers that NIO already has, and'more brands will join in the future'.

TapTechNews noted that NIO has successively carried out charging network interconnection and cooperation with brands such as Geely Automobile Group, Jiyue, SAIC-GM, and Deepal. In addition, NIO has reached battery swap cooperation agreements with GAC, Changan, Geely, Chery, Jianghuai, and Lotus Cars.

He Xiaopeng, the chairman of XPeng Motors, once said that when NIO's battery swap stations exceed 5,000, XPeng will seriously consider joining the battery swap ranks. As of TapTechNews posting, NIO has 2,416 battery swap stations.
