NIO Enables Daily Flexible Upgrade of Battery Packs for Users

NIO announced today that starting from 10:00 am on June 1st, users of NIO's standard and long-range battery packs can flexibly upgrade to the 150 kWh ultra-long-range battery pack on a daily basis. Pick up at one place and return it nationwide, pay after use first.

100 kWh - 150 kWh: The base price within 7 days of daily rent is $15 per day

75 kWh - 150 kWh: The base price within 7 days of daily rent is $22.5 per day

The above is the base price within 7 days. After renting the 150 kWh battery pack for more than 7 days, add $7.5 per day to the base price.

150 kWh battery pack is paid for on a daily rental basis with no cap.

The daily upgrade fee does not include the service fees generated by battery swapping and returning.

NIO car users can select the battery specification, rental period, and the battery swapping station for picking up power in NIO App - My Car - All Functions and Services - Energy Worry-Free - Flexible Upgrade, and then complete the order. After arriving at the battery swapping station, click I want to pick up power in the Flexible Upgrade入口 - Ongoing Orders to trigger the battery swapping queue order.

Owners who want to return can click Apply to Return Power in the Flexible Upgrade入口 to make an appointment to return to the station, arrive within the agreed time, and initiate I want to return power from the original entry to trigger the battery swapping queue order. Orders that are not returned within the timeout will be automatically cancelled.

After returning the battery, view the settlement statement at the order entry or push message for online payment, and can apply for an invoice.
