HP Denies Rumors of Moving PC Production Out of China

The HP side said that in China, HP's PC manufacturing business still maintains a pivotal position, providing high-quality products and services to the global market. In order to further enhance the resilience of the supply chain, the company is currently actively optimizing strategies and enhancing flexibility to better serve global customers and meet their diverse needs.

According to TapTechNews's report yesterday, some foreign media said that HP plans to transfer part of the production of personal computers (PCs) from China, and the main destination of this transfer is Thailand, and a backup design center will be set up in Singapore. Multiple people familiar with the matter revealed that at least five HP suppliers are building new manufacturing plants or warehousing centers in Thailand, and two of them have been increasing production capacity at the request of HP since the beginning of this year.
