TapTechNews May 25th, peripheral manufacturer Tiny has recently launched a roller protective case named tinyPod for Apple's AppleWatch. After putting the protective case on the AppleWatch, you can use the roller on the front of the protective case to get an operation experience similar to that of an iPod. However, the price of this protective case is not currently known, and the manufacturer only stated that the product will be officially released next month.
The manufacturer Tiny packages this protective case as a quit internet product that keeps users away from mobile phones:
With tinyPod, your'mobile phone' will still be a part of the Apple ecosystem because it is itself an AppleWatch with basic applications, but you cannot be addicted to social media and videos because the watchOS platform'still does not have fully functional applications that are addictive enough'.
From ten years ago to today, there have been many manufacturers launching various crowdfunding products that pay tribute to Apple's iPod. TapTechNews also reported last year that a Tangara open-source portable music player that also claims to be a tribute has launched a crowdfunding campaign on CrowdSupply. The price of this machine is $249 (TapTechNews note: currently about 1775 Chinese yuan), and it is expected to be shipped on September 14, 2024.
