Sixth Batch of New Energy Vehicle Models for Exemption from Purchase Tax Announced

TapTechNews May 31st news, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology today announced the sixth batch of new energy vehicle models directory for exemption from vehicle purchase tax, including the Lantu Zhiyin, Tesla Model 3, Dongfeng eπ007, Ne Zha X, Xiangjie S9, BYD Seal 05EV (TapTechNews note: it may be named Seal 06GT, Seal MINI, Seal X), FangChengBao Bao 8, Jiyue 07, Geely Haoqing Xingfuhao, Anhui Volkswagen ID.UNYX and other popular models.

Data shows that the Lantu Zhiyin provides 6 models with four kinds of cruising ranges of 570, 625, 650 and 901 kilometers. The BAIC Xiangjie S9 is equipped with a 97.6 kWh battery, and the CLTC cruising range can reach 721 kilometers. The Jiyue 07 provides models with three kinds of cruising ranges of 660/770/880 kilometers.

In addition, the BYD Seal 05EV (TapTechNews note: it may be named Seal 06GT, Seal MINI, Seal X) provides three CLTC cruising range versions of 505, 550 and 605 kilometers.

The plug-in hybrid models include Toyota Alphard, Dongfeng eπ007, FangChengBao Bao 8, Tengshi Z9GT and other models. The Bao 8 is equipped with a 36.864 kWh battery, and the pure electric cruising range is 100 kilometers. The Tengshi Z9GT is equipped with a 38.512 kWh battery, and the pure electric cruising range is 161 kilometers.
