TapTechNews June 17 - According to an informed source quoted by Cai Lian News today, the new pure electric family SUV under the brand Lantu will be produced in the Dongfeng Nissan Yunfeng Factory in Wuhan, and this factory is the production base of Dongfeng Nissan's pure electric model Ariya.
The report said that the new car will be equipped with a 109 kWh high-energy-density battery pack, and the maximum cruising range is 901 kilometers (about 560 miles). The above-mentioned informed source also revealed that in view of the existing factory production lines of Lantu to meet the production of the current models on sale, more production lines need to be opened to support Lantu Automobile's further expansion of the product matrix. Lantu Automobile will fully integrate and utilize the existing factory production capacity in the Dongfeng system, and can efficiently complete the production preparation work before the launch of a new car in Lantu.
Based on the above information, it is expected that the new SUV model that Lantu will produce in this factory is Zhiyin.
