The official name of this wristwatch is RM65-01 McLaren Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph W1, which adopts Richard Mille's highest-performance automatic chronograph movement, oscillating 36,000 times per hour, and the timing accuracy can be accurate to one-tenth of a second.
The carbon fiber case of this wristwatch imitates the body of the W1, and the design inspiration of the bezel comes from the high waistline and reverse gull-wing doors of the W1, which is highly recognizable.
The thinnest part of the upper bezel of the RM65-01 is only 0.5 millimeter, setting a new record for Richard Mille's watch models. In addition, the wristwatch also adopts a number of design elements originated from the W1, such as the hollow titanium metal dial and the crown inspired by the splines of the W1 drive shaft. There are also many orange elements on the wristwatch, including the rubber strap.
This RM65-01 wristwatch is limited to 500 pieces in production, and each piece costs up to 250,000 Euros (TapTechNews note: currently about 1.939 million RMB).
