VinFast Launches VF3 Electric Vehicle with Innovative Battery Leasing Option

TapTechNews May 13th news, Vietnamese new energy vehicle manufacturer VinFast has officially launched its VF3 model. The 'battery not included' version with battery leasing plan starts at 2.35 billion Vietnamese dong (approximately $66,270 USD, TapTechNews note: exchange rate calculated at current rate), while the version with battery included starts at 3.22 billion Vietnamese dong (approximately $90,804 USD). The car is available in blue/white/red/grey/yellow/green/pink/light blue color options.

In terms of appearance, the car has a mini shape with a square overall design. The front view is relatively wide, equipped with black unpainted front and rear bumpers, wheel arches, and side skirts, and features 16-inch wheels.

The cabin adopts a two-door four-seat layout, with a 10-inch central control screen, mobile connectivity function, and a D-shaped cut steering wheel.

In terms of specifications, the car measures 3190x1679x1622mm, with a wheelbase of 2075mm. It is equipped with a 32kW motor driving the rear wheels, with a maximum torque of 110Nm. The EPA-tested range is 130 miles (approximately 210 kilometers) and the lithium-ion battery capacity is 18.64kWh. Charging from 10% to 70% takes 36 minutes.
