Qualcomm Launches Snapdragon DevKit for Windows

TapTechNews May 22nd news, Qualcomm announced on the 21st local time the launch of the Snapdragon DevKit for Windows.

This development kit is designed to provide hardware support for Windows developers and accelerate the construction of applications for Copilot+PC.

The Snapdragon DevKit for Windows is in the form of a miniPC, with three-dimensional dimensions of 199 x 175 x 35 (inches), the shell is made of 20% ocean plastic, comes with a 180W power adapter, and is equipped with the Snapdragon XElite processor of model X1E-00-1DE.

In the publicly available parameters, this processor is the same as the general flagship model X1E-84-100 of the Snapdragon XElite:

12-core design, base frequency of 3.8 GHz, dual-core acceleration frequency of 4.3 GHz, including 42MB cache, equipped with a 4.6 TFLOPS computing power GPU and a 45 TOPS NPU.

In terms of storage, the Snapdragon DevKit for Windows is equipped with 32GB LPDDR5X memory and 512GB NVMe solid-state drive.

For IO interfaces, it is equipped with 3 USB4 Type-C interfaces, 2 USB3.2 Type-A interfaces, 1 RJ45 wired network port, 1 HDMI interface and 1 3.5mm audio jack, and supports outputting pictures to three UHD 4K screens simultaneously.

In terms of wireless connection, this development kit uses Qualcomm's FastConnect 7800 mobile connection system, which supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Qualcomm priced the Snapdragon DevKit for Windows at $899 (TapTechNews note: currently about 6509 yuan).

This kit is now available for pre-order and will be available for retail sale on June 18th.
