Xiangjie S9 The New Flagship Sedan from Hongmeng Zhixing

TapTechNews May 29 news, Xiangjie Automobile officially announced that the Hongmeng Zhixing's first administrative-class luxury flagship sedan, the Xiangjie S9, will debut on May 31.

According to yesterday's report by TapTechNews, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. has transferred its Xiangjie trademark to BAIC New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. The Xiangjie S9 is positioned in the high-end market and aims to compete with luxury models such as the Mercedes-Benz S long-wheelbase version, BMW 7 Series, and Audi A8.

Information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that the body dimensions of the Xiangjie S9 are 5160mm × 1987mm × 1486mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3050mm. The Xiangjie S9 has flatter and slender lines and a more elegant proportion, positioned as a D-class car.

This new car adopts the Inside-Out design that integrates the inside and outside, creating a seamless body proportion全新, realizing the maximization of cabin space. The usable space in the cabin is up to 3460mm, claiming to be benchmarked against products such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series, and Audi A8L.

In terms of the power system, the Xiangjie S9 is equipped with an electric motor provided by Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and will offer two versions: single-motor and dual-motor. The peak power of the single-motor version is 227kW, and the peak powers of the dual-motor version are 158kW and 227kW respectively.

For other parts, in addition to traditional color systems such as black and white, it also provides two Universe color systems such as Universal Red and Starlight Gold. It also adopts designs such as a flush side window, a streaming media rearview mirror, and a luxury forged milling wheel hub. In addition, Yu Chengdong said in an interview with the media that the Xiangjie S9 will debut Huawei ADS 3.0 and is expected to be officially launched in July-August.
