Tonight, Jiang Hairong, the CMO of Honor in the Chinese region, confirmed this news on Weibo and said that after this upgrade, as long as you enter the network area covered by 5GA, the 5GA logo will be displayed, and there is no need to handle relevant packages, and all three operators are okay.

According to TapTechNews' understanding, 5G-A is fully called 5G-Advanced, also known as 5.5G, which is a key stage of 5G evolving to 6G. Compared to 5G, the new generation of 5.5G technology comprehensively surpasses in terms of rate, delay, connection scale and energy consumption, achieving a 10-fold improvement in network capacity, and is expected to reach the peak rate of 10,000 megabits downstream and 1,000 megabits upstream, millisecond-level delay, low-cost hundreds of billions of IoT, and space-air integration.

Jiang Hairong previously disclosed that the Honor Magic6 series, which was released as early as January this year, has already been equipped with 5.5G mobile communication technology and is fully supported.
