TapTechNews learned from the report that in the notification, the user will be informed that they may encounter a situation of slower performance, and try to avoid direct sunlight or close any power-consuming application programs. There is also a See care steps (Seecaresteps) button in the notification.

After the user clicks the See care steps button, more methods to cool the device will be provided, such as temporarily reducing performance speed and disabling 5G networks, etc. In addition, it also includes avoiding direct sunlight, placing the phone in an open place to improve air circulation, or closing power-consuming application programs such as videos, games, and cameras.

The Adaptive Thermal will sample the battery temperature every 5 minutes to see if the phone has cooled down.

If the phone still hasn't cooled down and reaches 126°F (about 52°C), the adaptive cooling system will enter an emergency state. It is not yet clear what will specifically happen in this state, but it is guessed that more intense actions will be taken.

If the phone still has not cooled down and the temperature reaches a dangerous 131°F (about 55°C), then AdaptiveThermal will warn the user 30 seconds before shutting down the phone to protect the phone from greater damage.
