Ninebot's Intelligent Electric Scooters Cumulative Shipments Exceed 4 Million in China
TapTechNews, on June 30th, it was officially announced by Ninebot that the cumulative shipments of its intelligent electric scooters in China exceeded 4 million, claiming to "create a new speed in the industry."
Ninebot stated that it has consecutively ranked first in China's intelligent two-wheeled electric scooter sales for two consecutive years, with stores covering more than 1000 cities and counties across the country and having more than 6000 exclusive stores. On June 30th, 2024, the cumulative domestic shipments of Ninebot's intelligent electric scooters officially crossed the 4-million mark, which took four months:
The first '1 million' took 27 months.
From 1 million to 2 million took 11 months.
From 2 million to 3 million took 7 months.
From 3 million to 4 million took 4 months.
Ninebot's official website shows that the company has launched a number of series of electric bicycles and electric motorcycle products, covering high, medium and low price ranges, and focusing on the intelligent system. In May this year, two models of Ninebot E300P and Orion Dz110P started the public beta of the full-screen projection navigation function for intelligent two-wheeled electric scooters, supporting the iOS projection navigation lock screen without interruption feature.
TapTechNews previously reported that in February this year, the cumulative domestic shipments of Ninebot electric scooters reached 3 million. Zhang Zhenyuan, the general manager of the company's business division, said that the current weekly production capacity of Ninebot's Changzhou factory has increased by more than 300% compared to 2020. With the continuous update of the production process, the production efficiency and unit area production capacity of Ninebot's new vehicles will continue to break through and improve in the future.
