Bilibili Announces Micro-Short Drama Plan at Shanghai TV Festival

According to TapTechNews on June 25th, Bilibili announced its content planning and support program in the field of high-quality micro-short dramas at the Micro-Short Drama Conference of the Shanghai TV Festival held today.

It is reported that Bilibili plans to launch nearly 20 micro-short drama works this year, covering a diverse range of content themes such as society, culture, campus, mystery, comedy, culture and tourism, history, and realism.

TapTechNews found through inquiry that Bilibili has previously produced a series of dramas such as 'Run For Young', 'Ancient Love Song', 'Find Yourself', 'BABA of TPD Heroes ', 'That's You Season 3', 'The Twinning.'

Hu Hong, general manager of Bilibili's Film and Entertainment Content Center, said, 'From the current market environment and user portraits, we can find that users have a strong demand for high-quality, retention-capable high-quality micro-short dramas.' At the promotion meeting, Hu Hong mentioned four works that will be launched on Bilibili, including:

'Report to the Tutor, I Want to Graduate' is a college campus-themed work full of youthful atmosphere;

'I'm Stamp Li' will deeply display the cultural customs and the changes of the times in Shanghai;

'I've Been on the Edge of Collapse' focuses on the theme of psychological counseling. This work is also an IP derivative drama of Bilibili's documentary 'It's Bad Mood, It's Okay';

'Wukang Girl' tells a story of friendship and adventure across time. The male and female protagonists reunite after 12 years and start an adventure to protect the old buildings in Shanghai.
