TapTechNews June 4, it was reported that the subsidiary of FiberHome Communications, Thailand Ryson Limited Liability Company (hereinafter referred to as Ryson), held the ground-breaking ceremony for the optical fiber and cable manufacturing base.
The official said that the base has a construction area of approximately 72,000 square feet. The first phase of the project is mainly for outdoor and soft optical cable manufacturing, and after it goes into operation in 2025, it will have the production capacity to produce millions of fiber-kilometers of optical cables annually.
It is introduced that Thailand is a country with a relatively high Internet penetration rate in Southeast Asia, and the demand for communication products is also gradually increasing. Ryson will greatly fill the gap in the local optical communication manufacturing industry and promote the development of the Thai fiber cable industry. Ryson implements localization, and it is expected that by the time the factory is fully put into operation, it will provide hundreds of employment opportunities in R & D, manufacturing, sales, administration and supply chain for Thailand.
TapTechNews learned that FiberHome Communications is a listed company under China Information and Communication Technology Group, which was established in 1999, and its main business is optical communication. Its products include FONST6000N10 intelligent OTN equipment, CiTRANS650U, and 690E series SPN products.
At present, the second phase planning of the base has been completed simultaneously. After landing, the manufactured products will not only supply the local market of ASEAN, but also radiate to more overseas markets such as South Asia, Europe, and Africa.
