For some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the clip on the shift cable of the dual-clutch transmission (PDK) may not be installed correctly. When the shift lever is engaged in the P position, the transmission cannot be shifted to the parking gear, which may cause the vehicle to roll forward, increasing the risk of accidents after parking and presenting a safety hazard.

TapTechNews learned from the announcement that Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will entrust authorized dealers to replace the shift cable of vehicles within the recall range free of charge and install it correctly to eliminate safety hazards.
