IDC evaluated the market development of AIPC in China in January this year. The data shows that by the end of 2024, the market share of AIPC will reach 55%, and in 2027 it will reach 85%. In 2024, AI PCs will exceed 60% in the small and medium-sized enterprise market; the general consumer market will reach 55.4%; in 2027, the proportion of AIPC in the large enterprise and other large customer markets will reach 76.8%.
IDC conducted a survey and forecast on the AIPC market again in June, and it believes that by 2028, global AIPC will account for 2/3 of the PC market, and the annual shipments of AIPC in China will be 60 times that of 2024.
It is known that the concept of AIPC was first put forward by Intel last September. At the Microsoft Build 2024 Developer Conference on May 21 of this year, Microsoft launched SurfacePro and Laptop equipped with Snapdragon XElite/ Plus chips and called them AIPC.
