Google's Pixel 9 Series Faces Wireless Charging Issues

Some users said that when the Pixel 9 Pro XL uses the MagSafe puck and the Mous MagSafe phone case for wireless charging, the phone will show abnormal behavior, specifically manifested as stopping soon after starting charging. When using the MagSafe Qi charger for charging, the charging is intermittent and the phone will become very hot. In addition, there are also users who have listed five wireless chargers that cannot make the Pixel 9 Pro XL achieve stable charging.

Even Google's own second-generation wireless charging stand has this problem. Users said that the phone can recognize the charging stand, but it cannot charge. Although the corresponding charging icon will be displayed on the screen, the device is actually not charging.

Some users said that Google has confirmed that it is solving the abnormal wireless charging problem of the device. Currently, only a wired charger can be used temporarily or the solution provided by the support team can be tried.

It is worth noting that some Pixel 9 Pro users have also reported similar charging problems, but the number is relatively small.
