According to the introduction, Dr. Liu Jincheng, the chairman of EVE Energy, Governor Tate Reeves of Mississippi, government officials such as US Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, as well as company representatives such as Jennifer Rumsey, chairman and CEO of Cummins, John O'Leary, president and CEO of Daimler Trucks North America, and Preston Feight, CEO of PACCAR, attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

TapTechNews inquiry found that the ACT company is an independent joint venture company established in the US by EVE Energy's wholly-owned subsidiary EVE ENERGY US HOLDING LLC (EVE US) and Cummins, Daimler Trucks and PACCAR.

The official introduction stated that the joint venture company will produce square lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are mainly used in the designated North American commercial vehicle field, with an annual production capacity of approximately 21 GWh and will provide more than 2000 jobs locally.

The project is expected to start shipping in 2026, and the three foreign companies and their affiliates will also become the main customers and purchase the vast majority of products from this factory.
