Quanhe Launches DDR5 MANTA XFinity Memory Kit with Dual Virtual Light Bars

TapTechNews August 9th news, storage enterprise Quanhe yesterday launched the DDR5 MANTA XFinity memory kit including dual virtual light bars. This kit supports the AMDEXPO memory overclocking specification, including the Lost Ark commemorative edition and the XFinity edition.

Quanhe's memory kit adopts a 2+2 combination form, including 2 actual memory sticks with DDR5 DRAM particles and 2 RGB virtual light bars without DRAM.

Due to reasons such as the memory controller signal and motherboard wiring, the overclocking ability of DDR5 memory in the 1DPC (TapTechNews note: 1 memory stick per channel) mode far exceeds that in the 2DPC mode with all 4 slots filled.

However, most M-ATX and larger-sized mid-to-high-end motherboards still have 4 memory slots. Although the 1DPC insertion method can achieve a higher frequency, it will leave two memory slots empty, which is slightly lacking in aesthetics. Quanhe's patented virtual light bar design can solve this problem and enhance the integrity of the installed machine effect.

Quanhe stated that its 2+2 memory kit not only supports the ARGB light control of the four major motherboard manufacturers, but also fully compatible with the third-party SignalRGB, and users can break free from the bondage of the motherboard's original factory software in terms of light effect control.

In terms of specifications, Quanhe's DDR5 MANTA XFinity memory 2+2 kit has two options: 16GB×2 and 24GB×2, and the frequency ranges from 5600 to 7200 MT/s. It is expected to be launched in mid-September 2024.
