In response, the official Weibo of China Auto Rental released a response stating 'Due to the large volume of pick-up and return of cars during the National Day holiday, it caused a short-term congestion'.

TapTechNews learned from the official announcement of the Ministry of Transport that on October 1, 2024 (the first day of the National Day holiday), the cross-regional personnel flow volume of the whole society was 331.268 million person-times, an increase of 48.1% month-on-month, an increase of 0.9% compared with the same period in 2023, and an increase of 32.8% compared with the same period in 2019.
