Mercedes-Benz to Launch Pure Electric CLA with Advanced Tech in 2025

TapTechNews June 6th news, TapTechNews learned from 36Kr Automobile that Mercedes-Benz's pure electric CLA model has currently been confirmed to adopt the Nvidia Orin chip and will be equipped with the high-level intelligent driving solution without relying on high-precision maps provided by Momenta to realize urban navigation-assisted driving function. This car is planned to go into production in April 2025.

The intelligent driving pace of veteran luxury brands such as Mercedes-Benz is relatively slow, and their latest intelligent driving progress still remains at the 'new E-Class long-wheelbase version supports high-speed navigation-assisted driving function' at the end of 2023. The MMA platform where it is located is the second pure electric platform under Mercedes-Benz, supporting 800-volt electrical architecture and a maximum charging power of 250 kilowatts. In the cabin, it will carry Mercedes-Benz's self-developed MB.OS operating system and introduce a large language model.
