Microsoft Adjusts Windows11 Tray Clock Seconds Setting Position

TapTechNews July 31st news, Microsoft quietly adjusted the setting position of the second display of the tray clock in the Windows 11 system. This feature once caused dissatisfaction among users due to its absence and was restored after an update. But the setting position is rather concealed, and now Microsoft has optimized its setting position again.

Previously, users could enable the second display of the tray clock in the Settings -> Personalization -> Taskbar -> Taskbar Behaviors. But after the latest Insider Preview version update, this option was moved to the Display time and date in the system tray menu under Settings -> Time and Language -> Time and Date. Microsoft said the new location is more reasonable. In addition, users can also directly use the settings search function to quickly find this option.

In addition to the adjustment of the second setting of the tray clock, Microsoft also added options to disable mouse acceleration and change the scrolling direction in the latest preview version. These functions could only be achieved by modifying the registry before, and it is expected that these functions will also appear in the official version system soon.
