Google to Integrate PixelScreenshots into Circle to Search Feature

TapTechNews August 20th news, the tech media AndroidAuthority reported yesterday (August 19th) that by reverse compiling the Google application (15.32.37.29.arm64), it was discovered that Google plans to integrate the PixelScreenshots feature into the Circle to Search (CtS) feature.

Introduction to the PixelScreenshots application

The PixelScreenshots feature is similar to Microsoft's Recall feature, which saves, organizes, and invokes the information in screenshots by taking screenshots.

PixelScreenshots uses Google's privately-owned, locally-running GeminiNanoAI model, as well as multimodal technology to summarize and analyze the content in the screenshots, and then provides various services to users.

Integration into the Circle to Search feature

In the Google application (beta version 15.32.37.29.arm64), we found that Google is working hard to integrate the PixelScreenshots application into the Circle to Search (CtS).

After enabling, any content circled by the user when using CtS can be directly saved as a screenshot in the PixelScreenshots.

After the user selects any element on the screen, a save option will appear above with the PixelScreenshots icon next to it.

Clicking Save will save the screenshot and a small bar will pop up (as shown in the following figure), allowing the user to view the screenshot in the PixelScreenshots application.
