Raspberry Pi Foundation Updates Expanded Support and New Features

TapTechNews June 26th, Raspberry Pi Foundation launched the RaspberryPiConnect service earlier this year, but initially only supported Raspberry Pi 4 and newer devices.

Now, RaspberryPiConnect has announced the addition of support for older Raspberry Pi motherboards and brought a brand new remote Shell feature.

Of course, remote control is not new for Linux systems, but the special thing about RaspberryPiConnect is that it allows you to remotely access Raspberry Pi through any web browser. No matter where you are, you can log in to the Raspberry Pi desktop without having to install any software.

As TapTechNews knows, the service previously only supported the 64-bit version of the Raspberry Pi system, so it could only be used on Raspberry Pi 400, 4 or 5; and the latest version has extended the support for the 32-bit Raspberry Pi system, including also the lite version of the Raspberry Pi Lite system, thus enabling access to Raspberry Pi without a desktop environment.
