Chang'an Micro Electric Vehicle Lumin's New 'Commemorative Edition' Released

TapTechNews June 27th, the new 'Commemorative Edition' (commemorating the two-year anniversary of listing) models of Chang'an's micro electric vehicle Lumin have officially gone on the market today. Two different configurations are offered, corresponding to the ranges of 127 miles and 187 miles respectively.

$50,900 for the 127-mile Orange Breeze/Departure Edition.

$57,900 for the 187-mile Orange Breeze/Departure Edition.

According to the introduction, the newly launched models come standard with a floating roof and a two-tone body, while also having exclusive nameplates, headrests, storage boxes and other accessories, and custom car stickers are included. Orange Breeze Edition:Standard with electronic handbrake, rear disc brake, orange interior and central armrest.

Departure Edition:Standard with electrically retractable door handles, electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, keyless entry and one-button start.

The current model of Chang'an Lumin has a length, width and height of 128.3/66.9/60.6 inches respectively, and the wheelbase is 78.3 inches. The car is equipped with a 7-inch color screen instrument and a 10.25-inch full LCD high-definition intelligent touch screen, with a built-in voice assistant, supporting OTA upgrade, as well as functions such as navigation, video projection playback, Internet music/radio, and intelligent voice dialogue.

In terms of power, the current model can choose a 30kW or 35kW front-mounted single electric motor, and it is expected that the newly added model will continue to use this configuration; the pure electric range is 127 miles and 187 miles.
