Chery Arrizo 8's New Version to Be Launched with Upgrades

On June 12th, TapTechNews reported that Chery officially announced that the new version of Arrizo 8 will be launched on June 16th. The new car will be equipped with a brand-new 2.0T + 8AT powertrain; the 1.6T model will be upgraded to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.

According to official data, among the age groups of Arrizo 8 users, the proportion of people under 30 years old reaches 70%. In this upgrade, the high-performance version of Arrizo 8 will be equipped with the 2.0T Kunpeng Power and the Fuzhen 8AT gearbox high-level powertrain combination, which is also Chery's first independently developed 8AT gearbox with large-scale mature application.

At the same time, the 1.6T model of Arrizo 8 will be upgraded to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and the computing power and performance are improved, and the intelligence of the cockpit is also upgraded.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, the high-performance version of Chery Arrizo 8 sedan was released in July 2023, equipped with Kunpeng Power 2.0TGDI and Snapdragon 8155, with a starting price of $19,180 (129,900 yuan).

In addition, the Chery Arrizo 8 Glory Edition model was launched in March this year, equipped with a 1.6T engine, and the starting price is $1460 (9,990 yuan) for reference only.
