New Super Mario Party Game Announced

TapTechNews June 18th news, at tonight's Nintendo Direct event, the new Super Mario Party game, Super Mario Party Jamboree, was officially announced.

This game includes more than 110 mini-games and a gameplay that supports up to 20 players having fun together. It has the largest content volume in the series. It is scheduled to be released on October 17th, and the pricing is $45-$46 (TapTechNews note: currently about ¥7100-¥7128).

According to public information, Mario Party is a party game using Mario series characters, in which four characters controlled by players or the computer compete in various mini-games.

The series was initially published by Nintendo and developed by HudsonSoft; while the arcade version was developed by Capcom. The series is known for its party game elements and multiplayer mode for up to 4 players playing simultaneously. The previous work was Super Mario Party Superstars released on October 29, 2021.
