According to the introduction, the OpenHarmony compatibility assessment is mainly to verify that the equipment and business applications of partners meet the technical requirements of the OpenHarmony open source compatibility definition to ensure the stable and normal operation of the equipment and business applications running on OpenHarmony, while the equipment and business applications using OpenHarmony have a consistent interface and business experience.
At present, 246 manufacturers and 658 products have passed the OpenHarmony compatibility assessment, and the assessment types cover modules/development boards, commercial devices (including cameras, mobile phones, tablets, watches, etc.), distributions, etc.
Huawei's Managing Director and Chairman of the Terminal BG, Yu Chengdong, said at the HDC2024 Huawei Developer Conference that HarmonyOS is an all-scenario intelligent operating system built based on OpenHarmony.
