TapTechNews August 1. Yesterday (July 31), Pagani announced on its official website the new pictures of the Utopia Roadster convertible sports car. It uses the same V12 engine as the hardtop version. The global limited release is 130 units, and each car costs 3.1 million euros (TapTechNews note: currently about 2.8 million US dollars)..
Pagani will attend the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on August 15 and will publicly display the Utopia Roadster convertible sports car.
Regarding the design, the Utopia Roadster convertible sports car weighs 1,280 kilograms and adopts a red carbon fiber monocoque body. Its convertible structure is also a detachable carbon fiber roof with glass windows, further balancing weight and aesthetics.
In terms of power, the Utopia Roadster convertible sports car still uses the 6.0T twin-turbocharged V12 engine provided by AMG, with a maximum power of up to 635 kilowatts (864 horsepower) and a maximum torque of 1,100 Newton-meters; the transmission system is matched with an Xtrac seven-speed sequential gearbox, but a manual gearbox is also available.
