BYD Fangchengpao's Leopard 3 Debuts in Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Announcement

In the Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Products (batch 384) released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology today, the smallest model of BYD Fangchengpao brand - Leopard 3 has officially debuted.

Leopard 3 adopts pure electric power, with the length, width and height of 4605/1900/1720 mm (approx. 181.3/74.8/67.7 inches) respectively, and the wheelbase of 2745 mm (approx. 108.1 inches), and the total mass of 2525 kg. Judging from the size, it is a compact SUV. The approach angle of this car is 25° and the departure angle is 28°.
This car is equipped with a dual-motor power system, and the maximum power of the front and rear motors is 110 kW and 220 kW (approx. 147.5 hp and 295 hp) respectively, and the highest speed is 201 km/h (approx. 125 mph).
During the Fangchengpao Automobile Spring Conference on April 16 this year, this new car once appeared with the name of the concept car SUPER3. The design inspiration of this car comes from the Star Wars Armor, and it is equipped with the Star Wars Chassis. It has a very tough front bumper and flared wheel arches to enhance the overall momentum of the vehicle, claiming to bring an unprecedented experience to the driver. It is worth noting that this car is equipped with an external all-terrain spare tire, which the official calls Soaring Momentum, which can be used in conjunction with the vehicle-mounted drone system.
Compared with the concept car, the mass-produced version that appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology this time has a more conservative appearance, but still retains a large number of angular and hardcore elements.
