GoogleVids integrates the Gemini large model, which can help users create slideshows, write video scripts, and find materials from Shutterstock, and can also make storyboards for the whole video. Users can edit videos by adding or deleting elements such as slideshows, text fields, pictures, and audio, and finally export them as MP4 files.

The entrance of this function is located in the GoogleDocs document processing tool. After users create a new project, they can describe the theme of the video or the effect they want with a few words, and at the same time can ask the AI to use the specified files in the GoogleDrive cloud hard drive as materials. Compared to the warm-up in April, the currently launched test version temporarily lacks the AI voiceover function.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, in April this year, Kristina Behr, vice president of product management of Google's Google Workspace collaboration application, said: Our spirit is that if you can make a slide show, you can make a video in Vids, without the experience of video production.
