Users have reported that when they open the Microsoft Store and try to install an app, the page displays 'Retrieving information from the Microsoft Store' and continues for hours.
Users initially thought it was a problem with their computer or Microsoft account, but logging out or clearing the Microsoft Store cache did not resolve the issue.
TapTechNews cited the media report, noting that this issue is not isolated, as many users have reported the same problem on the official Microsoft support forums. Apps like Xbox, Prime Video, BlueMail, and Windows File Recovery are all experiencing the aforementioned error.
