The working principle of Iris is very intelligent. It continuously scans the situation in the room through a wide-angle camera and computer vision technology. Even in the dark, infrared LED lights can help it accurately capture mosquitoes. Iris's AI system can accurately identify mosquitoes and will not misjudge them as moths or dust.

Once a mosquito is found, Iris will continuously track its position until the mosquito lands. Then, a Class 1 human eye-safe red laser pointer is used by the device to accurately mark the landing point of the mosquito and send a notification to the user through the mobile phone App. If there are multiple mosquitoes in the room, Iris will mark their positions in turn. Users can also use multiple Iris devices in multiple rooms at the same time and connect them to the same mobile phone.

Although Iris can accurately locate mosquitoes, the final mosquito-killing operation still depends on people to complete. There is a telescopic electric mosquito swatter included in the device package to facilitate the user's final kill. Although many people hope Iris can directly kill mosquitoes, considering the potential safety hazards, such a function seems unlikely.
