Enlight Media to Jointly Develop Three-Body Problem Film with Zhang Yimou as Director

Wang Changtian, the chairman of Enlight Media, announced at the opening forum of the Shanghai International Film Festival that the company will jointly develop the Three-Body Problem science fiction film with the Three-Body Universe, the global exclusive copyright holder for the content development and commercial derivation of the long science fiction novel Three-Body Problem, with Zhang Yimou as the director, and the project has entered the preliminary operation stage.

TapTechNews noticed that on May 31, Enlight Media said on the interactive platform that the science fiction film Three-Body Problem that the company cooperated with the Three-Body Universe was actively modifying the preliminary script, and it is planned to start shooting next year.

It is publicly known that Enlight Media was established in 1998 and later listed on the domestic GEM in August 2011, owning a large number of works, and has continuously ranked the first place in the total annual box office of domestic films for many years; so far, more than 120 films have been invested, produced, and distributed, with a total box office of over 63 billion yuan, claiming to be 'far ahead in the industry'.
