TapTechNews June 30th news, the UK battery technology startup Nyobolt's concept all-electric sports car has come out of the laboratory 12 months after its release and can now actually hit the road.
It is introduced that the shape of Nyobolt EV is designed by Julian Thomson, the designer of the Lotus Elise S1 sports car, with 470 horsepower and a weight of only 1246kg (approx. 2746.6 pounds).
The prototype is equipped with a 35 kWh battery and supports 350 kW fast charging, which can charge from 10% to 80% of the electricity in 4 minutes and 37 seconds.
In addition, Nyobolt claims that its battery also has an advantage in lifespan, it can still maintain more than 80% of the available capacity after 4000 cycles, which can support a driving distance of about 600,000 miles (TapTechNews note: about 965,600 kilometers).
Nyobolt is collaborating with Callum to develop this prototype sports car and plans for small-scale mass production, but did not give a specific time plan and production quantity.
