Case One

After searching online, he found the so-called game power-leveling, promising to help him upgrade the rank, but he needed to give out the password of the game account to facilitate its login. Unexpectedly, after he logged in the account, he changed the real-name verification of the account to an unfamiliar minor and blackmailed for money.

Case Two

Student Wang, 21 years old, accidentally saw a post saying: Now I'm working and have no time to play the game. The account can be lent to everyone to play. After clicking the link to enter My Family, he controlled his account through the function of parents managing the child's game time, and it cost $300 to lift the anti-addiction.

Case Three

Student Zhang is already an adult, but the real name at that time was not his own, but the modification requires facial recognition. The scammer seemed very professional and mentioned various situations where facial recognition might occur. In the process of the user giving money again and again, there were always new problems.

Regarding this, the official Tencent said:

The user's own account is only for the user himself. Do not disclose the account password to others.

Do not click on strange links or scan the QR code sent by strangers or netizens.

Modifying the real-name verification information of the health system must be through the official channels.
