The China Judicial Big Data Research Institute closely follows the development trend of large model applications, actively conducts forward-looking layout of large models, and is committed to providing the legal community with professional knowledge system construction, accurate risk analysis models, intelligent legal services and other capabilities.

After more than a year of accumulation and precipitation, the All Laws large model of the China Law Research Institute has begun to provide services externally.

Introduction to the LawView Large Model

The LawView is based on the All Laws large model, jointly designed and developed by the China Judicial Big Data Research Institute and the Digital Smart Fengqiao Research Institute, and Tian Tong is the practical co-construction unit for joint deployment. The LawView product will open for public beta on August 10th.

Result

The Lawbench test score is 64.38 points, exceeding that of Chatlaw of Peking University Law School (60.08 points) and ChatGPT-4 of the US OpenAI (52.35), temporarily ranking first in the world.

TapTechNews note: Lawbench is a Chinese legal question-and-answer model evaluation data set jointly constructed by Nanjing University and the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, aiming to comprehensively evaluate the actual performance of large language models in the legal field. This data set contains three key dimensions: legal knowledge memory, legal knowledge understanding, and legal knowledge application, covering 20 sub-evaluation items and covering five major types of legal professional tasks such as single choice, multiple choice, regression, extraction, and generation.

The LawView passed the Chinese Legal Professional Qualification Examination with 182 points in the objective questions and excellent performance in the subjective questions through actual measurement (the study materials do not include the examination questions, which belongs to the real examination), becoming the world's first artificial intelligence product to pass the Chinese legal examination.
