Microsoft Released Optional Update KB5039302 for Windows 11 with Multiple New Features and Bug Fixes

Gradual rollout: Not available to all users

New feature: Added a GamePass recommendation card on the Settings home page. If the user logs in to the Windows 11 system with a Microsoft account and often plays games, a GamePass recommendation card will appear on the Settings home page for the Home and Professional editions.

New feature: By default, the Show Desktop button is again on the taskbar. To change it, right-click the taskbar and choose Taskbar Settings. On the lower part of the page, you can find Taskbar Behavior.

New feature: This update will affect the File Explorer. Users can now create 7-Zip and Tape Archive (TAR) files using the right-click menu. When right-clicking on a file, the Compress As item offers ways to compress the file with tools such as gzip, bzip2. There is also a new compression wizard in the additional options. It helps you select more formats and add details. You can add many files into other TAR-format compressed packs with different types of compression. You can also change the compression level and choose the data type to be stored in each compressed pack.

New feature: Supports Emoji 15.1, Windows supports Unicode class symbol shapes for family groupings and can also select the right or left direction for certain facial expression emojis.

New feature: Users can use the Windows Share window to copy files.

New feature: This update begins to roll out a new Account Manager on the Start menu. After the user logs in to Windows with a Microsoft account, you can see at a glance the benefits of the account. This feature also allows you to easily manage account settings.
