Ultra Dimension Vision to Host Snow Ruyi Invitational Tournament for DOTA2 in China

TapTechNews June 25th news, Ultra Dimension Vision recently announced to join hands with Chongli Olympic Park to hold the Ultra Dimension Vision Snow Ruyi Invitational Tournament in Zhangjiakou Chongli Taizicheng Winter Olympic Village and the National Ski Jumping Center Snow Ruyi, setting up one project for DOTA2.

The invitational tournament will be held from July 28th to August 4th, and the whole process will adopt the offline tournament format, of which the games from August 1st to August 4th will be held in Snow Ruyi.

A total of 12 DOTA2 teams will participate in the Ultra Dimension Vision Snow Ruyi Invitational Tournament, including 5 domestic teams and 7 foreign teams, and they will compete for a total prize money of 500,000 US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 3.636 million RMB).

This tournament has also become the first large-scale international DOTA2 tournament in China in five years since the MDL Chengdu Major in 2019.

The Ultra Dimension Vision Snow Ruyi Invitational Tournament is located between the Saudi Esports World Cup DOTA2 project and the 2024 International Invitational (Ti13). Among the participating teams, 6 teams have obtained the esports world cup quota, and 6 teams have obtained the Ti13 participation qualification.
