Korean Fair Trade Commission to Investigate Krafton and Com2us for Lottery Probability Fraud

TapTechNews May 30th news, on May 28th, the Korea Fair Trade Commission announced that it would go to Krafton and Com2us game companies to investigate the complaint about Lottery Probability Fraud, mainly involving the two games, PUBG and Starseed: AsniaTrigger.

Starseed: AsniaTrigger is an AI beautiful girl cultivation RPG game that contains a large number of action elements. It has been launched overseas in March this year and landed on Android and iOS platforms. The story background is set in a virtual world. In order to prevent the extinction of mankind, players will fight together with AI beautiful girls, mainly including collecting and cultivating various life-sized beautiful girl characters.

The Korea Fair Trade Commission said that it has recently received complaints from players, alleging that the lottery probability disclosed in the two games PUBG and Starseed: AsniaTrigger does not match the actual winning rate, which seriously damages the interests of players.

In response, both Krafton and Com2us have issued responses. The former said that it is humbly cooperating with the investigation, while the latter said that an investigation has indeed been conducted but it is impossible to confirm what specifically caused the investigation.

As TapTechNews knows, the Korea Fair Trade Commission has previously conducted investigations on game companies such as NCSoft, the operator of Lineage M, Gravity, the operator of Ragnarok Online, and Wemade, the operator of KnightCrow, regarding the Problem of Fraudulent Probability of Game Items.
