Amazon Games and NCsoft Announce Throne and Liberty Release Date

TapTechNews reported on June 19 that Amazon Games and NCsoft now announced that its free MMORPG Throne and Liberty will be launched in North America, South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan on September 17, 2024, accessible on Steam (region-locked), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and also supporting cross-platform gaming, and the Beta Public Test will be opened in advance from July 18 to 23.

This game is a new work developed by NCsoft with the goal of 'a new generation MMORPG'. It is also NCSOFT's first全新 MMORPG in 11 years that can accommodate 'thousands of players' and all games unfold in a 'dynamic' open world.

According to the previous TapTechNews report, Throne and Liberty was initially announced in November 2011, and then experienced multiple delays, and finally launched on the Korean server (supporting Traditional Chinese) last December 7.

The head of third-party publishing of Amazon Games, MervLeeKwai, said, 'We can't wait to show you what we've been working on and invite you to experience it all for yourself when the game is launched in September.'

Throne and Liberty has dynamic weather and environment, and player characters can interact with the weather and environment, transforming into three forms of land, sea and air to complete different tasks and challenges, and explore the vast seamless big world.
