NVIDIA GB200 Super Chip Could Sell for $70,000 Each According to HSBC Analyst

On May 15, TapTechNews reported that according to a senior writer @firstadopter from Barron's, a HSBC analyst believes that the price of a single NVIDIA GB200 super chip (CPU+GPU) could reach as high as $70,000 (approximately 507,000 RMB).

Another point worth noting is that NVIDIA is more inclined to sell servers equipped with the Blackwell GPU rather than selling the chips separately, so the price of the GB200NVL72 server is expected to be as high as $3 million.

The HSBC analyst believes that the average selling price (ASP) of NVIDIA's 'entry-level' B100 GPU will be between $30,000 to $35,000, at least not far from the price of NVIDIA's H100.

The more powerful GB200 (1 Grace CPU+2 B200 GPUs) could be priced between $60,000 to $70,000, with the actual price possibly much higher.

According to data from HSBC, the average selling price of the NvidiaGB200NVL36 equipped with 36 GB200 super chips (18 Grace CPUs and 36 enhanced B200 GPUs) could be $1.8 million, while the price of the NvidiaGB200NVL72 equipped with 72 GB200 super chips (36 CPUs and 72 GPUs) could be around $3 million (TapTechNews note: approximately 21.72 million RMB).
