China's Baotou-Yinchuan High-Speed Railway Enters Static Acceptance Stage

TapTechNews May 17th news, the Chinese railway authorities officially announced that the new construction of the Huinong-Yinchuan section of the Baotou-Yinchuan High-Speed Railway (hereinafter referred to as the Baoyin High-Speed Railway Huinong-Yinchuan section by TapTechNews) has entered the static acceptance stage today, creating conditions for the subsequent opening and operation of the line.

According to the introduction, the Baoyin High-Speed Railway is an important part of China's eight vertical and eight horizontal high-speed railway network Jinglan Passage, with a designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour, and the total length of the main line of the entire line is 420 kilometers. After the line is completed and opened to traffic, the fastest travel time of the train from Baotou to Yinchuan will be shortened from 6 hours to about 2 hours.

The public information shows that the Baoyin High-Speed Railway Huinong-Yinchuan section starts from Huinong District, Shizuishan City, Ningxia, with a newly built line of about 99 kilometers, and has 4 stations including Huinong South, Shizuishan, Shahu, and Yinchuan.

The authorities said that after the project is completed and opened to traffic, it will become a major transportation artery and economic passage connecting the northwest region with the northeast and north China regions, and has important significance for improving the layout of the national high-speed railway network, optimizing the comprehensive transportation system of the Jinglan Passage, meeting the needs of passengers for rapid travel, and promoting the economic and social development of the northwest region.
