Loongson 3A6000 Computers Enter Fuzhou District, Showcasing Promising Capabilities
TapTechNews June 18th news. Loongson中科 announced that recently, nearly a thousand Loongson 3A6000 computers have entered various departments in a certain district of Fuzhou, Fujian, and are serving for the specific work.
This batch of computers is the first batch of 3A6000 complete machine products to achieve the first batch of large-scale application, which is manufactured by Shengteng Information, a subsidiary of Fujian Provincial Electric Core, and is equipped with a domestic operating system. It has built-in mainstream office and instant messaging software, and can fully meet the requirements for using old printers (compatible with the original printer equipment).
It is worth noting that the Loongson technical route is the first batch of information creation environment to enter the Fujian Province Information Creation Adaptation Center, and based on the information creation cloud adaptation test work such as one cloud with multiple cores, safety compliance, and unified management, it provides technical route verification services for users' business information creation transformation.
As can be seen from the desktop screenshots released by the official, daily communication, office, and entertainment software such as WeChat, QQ, WPS Office, Baidu Netdisk, Meitu XiuXiu, Tencent Conference, NetEase Cloud Music, QQ Music, Tencent Documents, and Youku can all be used.
According to TapTechNews' previous report, the Loongson 3A6000 was released in November 2023. It adopts the fourth-generation 64-bit microarchitecture LA664, has four physical cores / eight logical cores, a main frequency of 2.0-2.5 GHz, realizes SMT2 technology, and supports dual-channel DDR4-3200 memory.
According to the official measurement of Loongson, the performance of 2.5GHz Loongson 3A6000 can reach the level of Intel's 10th-generation Core 3.6GHz i3-10100, and the next step is to strive to achieve the performance of Intel and AMD's advanced process CPUs using mature processes.
