Jungar Banner

Jungar Banner is located in the southwestern part of Inner Mongolia and the eastern part of Ordos City. It is the second batch of national pilot areas for county-level standardized basic public service of radio and television, and has a relatively complete cable TV infrastructure.

Since 2022, Jungar Banner has taken administrative villages, natural villages and immigrants and resettled households in the town area as the main coverage scope, providing free cable TV services for users and pushing public cultural service contents.

The banner government subsidizes at the standard of 300 yuan per household per year for the first three years before users enter the network and 200 yuan per household per year after three years. Up to now, 21 million yuan has been cumulatively invested, and 30,000 beneficiary farmers have benefited.

Ejin Horo Banner

Ejin Horo Banner has started to implement the Smart Radio and Television household access project since 2022. China Radio and Television Inner Mongolia Network Co., Ltd. invests 69.6949 million yuan to implement infrastructure construction, covering 7 towns and 138 Gacha villages (including 22 immigrant villages) in the banner.

After the infrastructure is fully completed by the end of 2024, it can provide users with dual-line optical fiber household access services, including high-definition cable TV signals and Internet bandwidth of more than 100 megabytes, and very few remote areas provide 20-megabyte wireless dual-base station coverage.

The banner government signs a 10-year contract with the Ejin Horo Banner Branch of China Radio and Television Inner Mongolia Network Co., Ltd. Starting from 2024, the government will invest 7 million yuan every year and fully subsidize at the standard of 300 yuan per household. After three years, users on the network will pay 100 yuan per year for cable TV viewing fees, and the rest of the cost will be subsidized by the government at a total amount not exceeding 4.82 million yuan every year.

At present, 7912 farmers and herdsmen have enjoyed the cable TV service purchased by the government, and the number of beneficiary groups will reach 24,000 by the end of 2025.
